How to get to Old Saybrook

Midway between New York City and Boston, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from each, Old Saybrook is centrally located and easy to get to.

  • We are approximately 30 minutes from New Haven, Middletown and Mystic, Connecticut.
  • 20 minutes from the New London/Orient Point Ferry, and 40 minutes from the Bridgeport/Port Jefferson Ferry.
  • 50 minutes from both Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT, and T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI.
  • 2 1/2 hours from LaGuardia and JFK Airports in New York.
  • Amtrak trains from Boston or NewYork stop at the Old Saybrook Station as well as Shoreline East trains from New Haven.

From the North (Hartford, CT and Mass.): Interstate 91 South to Exit 22S (Route 9 South) to Exit 2. At end of ramp turn right (154 South/West). Go 1.9 miles to fourth traffic light and turn left onto Main Street, Old Saybrook.

From the East (Rhode Island): Interstate 95 South to Exit 68. Continue straight to stop sign. Turn right and go .6 miles to traffic light. Turn left (Rt 1 South/154 West) and go .4 miles to second traffic light and turn left onto Main Street, Old Saybrook.

From the South/West (New York): Interstate 95 North to Exit 67, continue straight on exit ramp. Go .5 miles to third traffic light and turn left onto Main Street, Old Saybrook.
